Growing up in Columbia, Maryland, I am a native of Howard County. In fact, I enjoyed the area so much I stayed close to home for college, attending and receiving my bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland College Park. Right out of college, I began a 10 year career in the Federal Government working as a Civilian for the military. Passionate about learning and growing, I pursued my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and graduated with my MBA from the University of Maryland University College. At the same time, I settled in Laurel, Maryland with my husband and 2 children where I have lived in Anne Arundel County ever since.
Being a resident of Howard, Prince George’s, and Anne Arundel counties has given me a great amount of first-hand knowledge about living in each of these areas. Most importantly, I have a wide knowledge about the real estate market in each of these counties and their surrounding areas. Through my education I developed a passion for real estate which grew from my desire to help people and my community. As a licensed Realtor, I get to use my education to provide effective communication, project management skills, and negotiation techniques to lead my clients to the success of achieving their home goals in the biggest investment they may ever make in their lifetime. Being both a buyer and seller myself in the past, I take my duties as a trusted advisor for my clients to heart, the same way I was trained to uphold stellar service over my many years as a government employee.
Real estate is life for me, so even in my down time I enjoy reading about the latest trends in the market, engaging with other real estate professionals to exchange information, and taking continuing education classes. However, outside of my role as a real estate agent, I enjoy volunteering in the community, running 5K marathons for important causes, traveling to places I’ve never been before, and doing activities with my family off of our family bucket list.
